What are the best tank mates for scarlet badis? Can shrimp coexist with scarlet badis?

Tank mates that work well with scarlet badis are small fish with peaceful personalities, such as pygmy corydoras, micro rasboras, small tetra species, or other nanofish.

It is possible to coexist with scarlet badis. However, scarlet badis are known to be active hunters and eat baby shrimp. As a result, you will never see a thriving shrimp population when combined with the scarlet badis.
