Did you know that scarlet badis have a small body size? Because of its small size, it is more easily intimidated by larger fish. This makes this beautiful fish unsuitable for most freshwater community aquariums. Therefore, these fish are better kept in species-specific aquariums where the aquarium is full of vegetation for hiding places.
As for the amount of space the scarlet badis fish requires, it depends on the content and size of the fish. If you have a small tank you can fill it with 1 male and 2 females. This means that in a small tank size or 10 gallons, you can have 3 scarlet badis fish living together.
